The most natural partnership you'll see all year!

Sometimes things just fit together perfectly. Like a bleach free kitchen roll standing ready on a worktop made from reclaimed timber chippings.

Our partnership with Naked Paper is a lot like that.

Naked Paper are UK’s highest rated eco toilet paper. Founded in 2020, by Leila Francis Coleman and Tom Whelan. Offering a range of bamboo and recycled tissues made from plain packaging card and unbleached boxes, meaning they are brown with no extra processing required, which makes it soft due to pulping.

Their factory is zero waste, and is powered by 100% renewable energy. Tissues are pulped and is washed in the factory, using mild water, soaps, salts to remove unwanted residues.

As an award-winning developer and contractor of planet positive housing here in the UK. We design homes with a clear aim: build better neighbourhoods without borrowing against the future. In 2024 we won the RIBA National Award, the RIBA London Award, and the RIBA London Sustainability award for their ground-breaking project The Arbour, a development of modern homes on a former industrial site in Walthamstow.

For this ground-breaking project, materials were reclaimed and folded back into the build, from bathroom tiles recycled from yoghurt pots to earth compacted into 35,000 party-wall bricks.

The finished homes now generate more energy than they use, feeding the surplus back to the grid and guaranteeing residents zero energy bills.

We were delighted to see another company following the same ethos; strip out what’s not needed, protect what really matters, and make decisions with the long-term in view.

And here’s where things get really exciting for us, because every new resident at our flagship scheme, Carpenter’s Yard, in Epping Forest will receive a warm, bleach free welcome pack of Naked Paper essentials. Naturally brown bamboo loo rolls, recycled tissues, and a few other basics that make it simple to live more sustainably.

We’re delighted to be working with a company who are, like us, firmly focused on a brighter future. It’ll be a real honour to welcome people when they start out in our new homes.

It’s the most natural partnership you’ll see all year.
